It is with great excitement and pride that we announce the recipients of the Model Mustang Staff Award for the month of May (the FINAL one of the 23-24 school year)! This award is a tribute to those outstanding individuals who embody the qualities of a true “Model Mustang”; they inspire, lead, foster positivity, persevere, and excel in all that they do. Each Model Mustang was nominated by colleagues who took the time to acknowledge and celebrate their coworkers’ exceptional contributions to our district. Their hard work and commitment have not gone unnoticed, and we are grateful for the positive impact they have within RSU 57! This month's raffle winner is Kevin Harvey from Technology!
"Kevin has really stepped up into his new role to lead his team and set an example for all staff in the department. He has been instrumental in numerous data application upgrades and enhancements, and stepped in to provide coverage for the Director when needed. Meet Jack and Jack's Mom, played by 8th graders Leia New and Madison Redwine. Jack is a simple boy who loves his cow, Milky-White, puppeteered by 6th grader Julia Okerholm. Jack's Mom is a woman who wishes their cow made a little more milk, and her son had a little more brains. We have a feeling Jack might find something wonderful once his mom is done yelling at him, but what do you think?

MMS Student Council is organizing a food drive to benefit York County Shelter and Pantry Programs, May 20-24th

The MMS Drama Club will present Into the Woods JR. on May 17th and 18th at 7:00 p.m. and on May 19th at 2:00 p.m.!
With a book by James Lapine and music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, Into the Woods JR. is based on a Broadway production that won several Tony Awards, including Best Score, Best Book, and Best Actress in a Musical. The musical follows a Baker and his Wife who learn they've been cursed with childlessness by the Witch next door. The couple embarks on a quest – swindling, deceiving, and stealing from such already-victimized characters as Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, and Jack (fresh off the beanstalk!) – to get the special objects required to break the spell.
Tickets will be $9 at the door for adults, and $7 for students and seniors. For more information on the show please email christiandaigle@rsu57.org

Join us next weekend as MMS Drama Club presents Into the Woods, Jr!
